  2. Separate Colors: Wash dark and light-colored garments separately to avoid color bleeding.

For Cotton Fabrics:

  • Washing: Hand wash in cold water or machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergents to preserve the fabric quality.
  • Drying: Avoid wringing; instead, air dry in the shade to prevent fading and shrinkage.
  • Ironing: Use medium heat and steam iron if necessary. Avoid direct contact with the fabric by using a pressing cloth or iron inside out to maintain the fabric’s sheen and texture

For Viscose Fabrics:

  • Washing: Dry clean recommended or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid excessive rubbing as viscose is delicate when wet.
  • Drying: Do not twist or wring. Lay flat or hang to dry in shade to prevent stretching, distortion or shrinking.
  • Ironing: Use a low-heat setting and iron the reverse side of the fabric.

For Polyester Fabrics:

  • Washing: Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid excessive rubbing.
  • Drying: Do not twist or wring. Lay flat or hang to dry. 
  • Ironing: Use a low-heat setting and iron the reverse side of the fabric.

Additional Tips:

  • Avoid bleach or strong chemicals, as they can damage the fabric.
  • Store garments in a cool, dry place. Use padded hangers for kurtas and tops to retain shape.
  • For seasonal storage, use breathable garment bags to protect fabrics from dust and humidity.
